Interested in ways you can make a contribution to GVPTA or the broader theatre community? 

GVPTA is a charitable organization that functions thanks to the the hard work of a volunteer Board of Directors, part-time staff, and a handful of volunteers and contractors who offer us help to carry out various programs throughout the year. You can learn more about our team here. 


There are a number of ways that you can get further involved and give back to GVPTA and our theatre community. Read on!

Become a Member

Are you a performer, producer, director, designer, crew member, educator, administrator, volunteer, or theatre patron? Anyone who participates in, or supports live theatre is welcome to become a GVPTA member! 


As a member you’ll be plugged into the middle of an artistic community where you can connect with British Columbia's most committed theatre workers, gain inspiration, form connections, and be a part of a thriving community.

Join the Board of Directors

In recent years, GVPTA has made thoughtful changes to deepen our relationships with our community, increase the capacity of the organization, and ensure our programming and activities reflect the needs of our sector.

Make a Donation

The generous donations we receive allow us to continue building and strengthening the local theatre industry.

The easiest way to make a financial donation is through Canada Helps, using your credit card or PayPal account. You can choose the amount, whether it's a one-time or recurring donation, and request a tax receipt.
