Make yourself suitable to even more roles by learning a skill that more and more theatre companies are requiring - Puppetry.

Starting with the basics and quickly building your arsenal of techniques and tools, this two-day introductory puppet intensive, intended for artists with professional training looking to add to their repertoire of desired skills.  The course will touch on puppet theatre history, and will focus on hand puppetry techniques and styles, performing with puppets, and aims to prepare participants with the ability and confidence to rock an audition using a puppet.

Puppets will be provided for use during the workshop, however if participants have a puppet of their own they wish to use they may bring it.

Actors should come prepared to the workshop with a memorized, short monologue (under 1 minute) of their choosing, and dressed in clothes they can move in.

This is a Professional Development Workshop

Please send in your theatre resume and a short note why you would like to take this workshop.

Although no puppetry experience is required, participants must have theatre or film acting training.
