Gateway Theatre Conservatory's CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

The Gateway Theatre Conservatory is a training program providing twelve emerging / student theatre artists, who are curious to expand their learning and practice of theatre skills, the opportunity to participate in individual workshops which will explore elements of performance, directing and the theatre industry. Participants will learn from some of the finest professional artists and educators in the country such as Kawa Ada, Diane Brown, John Ng and Peter Jorgensen. Workshop instructors are also working directly with Gateway Theatre on-stage or behind the scenes during the 2017/18 Signature Series.

 

We are seeking applicants between the ages of 16 and 22 who

  • Currently train or have previous training in theatre
  • Intend to pursue a future in theatre
  • Demonstrate an investment in developing one’s craft as a theatre artist
  • Desire a deeper engagement in the Canadian theatre industry
