The Cultch

The Cultch (Vancouver East Cultural Centre) is one of Western Canada’s most dynamic and inclusive performing arts organizations. Rooted in East Vancouver for over 50 years, we deliver exceptional, innovative performing arts that engage, challenge, and inspire.

Our mission is to share extraordinary live performance with social impact; sparking conversation, fostering inclusion, and strengthening community.

We are home to three venues — the Historic Theatre, Vancity Culture Lab, and York Theatre — as well as a community gallery and rehearsal hall. We support artists at every stage, champion equity and access, and bring audiences together through multiple forms of performing arts.
