  • Industry Training
  • 20+ Trade Show Exhibitors
  • Three Social Evening Events
  • Two Lunches and Six Coffee Breaks

Learn more about the Event Safety Conference at actsafeconference.ca.

So what’s in it for you?

A minimum commitment of 8 hours will reward each volunteer with a full conference pass, enabling them to attend and participate in all activities when not on duty. Lunches, coffee breaks, trade show access and social events are included, however due to limited space attendance at industry training courses does not apply. Volunteer hours may be fulfilled during the conference or in advance.

This is a great opportunity to network and share knowledge 200+ members of the performing arts and live event industry!

Volunteers are needed to assist with:

  • Set-up and strike
  • Coat check
  • Registration
  • Hospitality
  • Presenter/panelist support
  • Session note-taking
  • Social media
  • Photography and/or video
  • General assistance for staff and coordinators
  • Tradeshow floor support
  • Materials assembly (programs, handouts, swag, signage placement)
  • Office assistance (sales & marketing, follow-up phone calls, administrative support)
  • Other pre-conference preparation

Orientation

All volunteers are asked to attend an orientation session prior to the event. A session will be held on February 19, however if you’re unable to attend let us know in order to make alternate arrangements for your orientation.
