Supernatural Noir

The story centres around a psychic detective by the name of Slim Diggins, who has been asked to locate a missing husband, a famous toxicologist. At the same time, Slim has been asked to find this man, a mysterious substance has washed up on BC's shores. Slim faces terrorism, treachery, taxes and environmental disaster. He struggles with the legal, medical, media and political systems as he uncovers a greedy plot threatening the lives of Pacific Coast dwellers.
This darkly comic tale will be sung from beginning to end and features the Great Canadian ensemble, Joe Trio. This concert version will be presented as part of MusicFest Vancouver's 2010 season.
