Pi Theatre
Pi Theatre Productions deepens intercultural dialogue through theatre. We do this by producing French-Canadian plays in English translation and cutting-edge contemporary works from the world stage, including work that has been translated or adapted from its original language. Established in 1984, Pi has evolved into a company that provides dynamic, provocative and entertaining theatre for both audiences and artists, cross-pollinating cultures and ideas.
We aim to provide audiences with intellectually stimulating and emotionally challenging theatrical experiences that expand how people view themselves and their place in the world. Pi provides a unique and important worldview to its Vancouver audiences.
Pi’s plays are notoriously ‘cutting edge’ pieces that engage a new and adventurous theatre audience. Pi Theatre Productions has created a reputation for being a company not afraid to innovate and stretch toward infinity.
