Vancouver Theatre Guide

March 27 is World Theatre Day! It was created as an annual event in 1961 by UNESCO’s International Theatre Institute, the world’s largest organization for the performing arts, to celebrate all things live theatre.

THE GOALS OF WORLD THEATRE DAY

  • promote the art of theatre to the world
  • make people aware of the value of theatre
  • share joy with others through live performance
